Phantom Of The Opera I The Beatboxed Cover (Video)

I haven’t posted anything with music in such a long time, but a friend of mine suggested that I watch this video and I must say my mind was blown! If you thought you’d heard Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera covered in every way possible, then think again…   It’s always great to see a fresh take on something as iconic as The Phantom of the Opera. Just gorgeous, a stunning work of art that has been done in many ways and always carries some hint of emotional affect that you’d have to be heartless to miss.. Singapore beatboxer, Dharni & the amazingly …

Cuban pop sensation, Willy Chirino wears Marrero Collection

As most of you know…  1. I live in South Florida 2. The Cuban population in Miami is massive   There is a plethora of cuban artists who have thrived in the sunshine state, or, for that matter, the world: Celia Cruz, Andy Garcia, Pitbull, Gloria & Emilio Estefan, Lissette Alvarez… but a list of talento like this would not be complete without the creator of the Sound of Miami and Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner Willy Chirino.  Cuban pop sensation Chirino has recorded over 30 albums, several of which have attained platinum and gold status, Grammy awards, and is celebrating forty years as an artist.   Chirino …

The 2018 Gratitude Jar Challenge

January 2nd, the day I open my 2017 gratitude jar. If anyone wants to begin this practice today, a New Year is always a great place to start! Writing it down-the physical record is important—don’t just do this exercise in your head. The things you list can be relatively small in importance (an unexpected call with someone you like, a great meal) or relatively large (We close on our new house!). The goal of the exercise is to remember a good event, experience, person, or thing in your life—then enjoy the good emotions that come with it. Are you in …

I’m happy in anticipation of what’s coming in 2018

Read the headlines on any given day and it’s easy to become jaded and discouraged about tragic events happening all around the world. But despite the depressing headlines, there are many positive things to look forward to as we begin a brand-new year. I’m looking to 2018 as a fresh start, not looking at the past but focusing on a new chapter in my life waiting to be written. I will work on discarding preconceived notions of what others think, and recreate the person I want to be. Trying not to compare myself with others. Not listening to the thoughts …

Puerto Rico needs us. Join and help us rebuild Puerto Rico!

PuertoRico-blog

Most of you guys know I’m Puerto Rican, After 5 days of no communication with my family because of hurricane Maria, I was able to make contact with my father – as you can imagine, a very emotional day. Dad is a very strong man but he sounded fragile and distraught, he said that he never thought than in 74 years he would experience something so horrific. After asking him to come stay with me, I needed to spread the word to my friends in social media. My heart is heavy but there is stuff to do… move on to …

Gratitude Jar 2017 – Just Do it!

Gratitude-Jar

In 2015 I posted “One of the wisest things I did in 2015 was my gratitude jar. I am so happy that I stuck with this exercise because the results were nothing but incredible.” I still LOVE this practice and wanted to share with my friends my insights about this attitude of gratitude. I was reading this great article Lessons From My Gratitude Jar It doesn’t matter what you write. The simple act of finding something to appreciate shifts you a tiny bit each time. Grateful for rain — we had a very long, hot, dry summer in Southern California. …
