“Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.”
― Coco Chanel
As someone that was born on a tropical island, I have never been afraid of bright colors when it comes to fashion. I always see it as standing out from the rest of the crowd. But this fall I have been very attracted to the black-and-white graphic theme. There’s something about the classiness and the crisp edges in this years Fall runway looks, and I’m just LOVING them!
From Christian Dior’s short coat dress, to Project Runway winner Christian Siriano’s evening gown… I’m living for the black-and-white look.
I started noticing the black-and-white trend, which is one of the most classic of combinations, on the cover of the most recent In Style magazine, which featured the lovely Julia Roberts wearing a beautiful Louis Vuitton dress. And fashion stylist to the stars, Rachel Zoe, went bananas with the black-and-white combo.
This Fall Black & White was all over the runaways – clean and simple lines which included capes, tailored jackets, pencil skirts and gorgeous evening gowns!
Simply put The black and white classical and timeless duo remains a solid asset. And that’s why I have been working on a couple of gorgeous graphic handbags to be released this holiday season with this chic combination that will bring the collection a classic and impeccable style.
“Black and white can go anywhere.”
– Jackie Kennedy
