Lately, I have been working on a few illustration projects for licensing. I love what I do, but after 40+ years it doesn’t get easier when a project doesn’t go through. Now when two projects don’t go through, you can get down in the dumps! Sometimes I focus too much on “The Goal”, and the object of my focus becomes my waking thoughts, daily deliberations and midnight meditations. Let It Go – from Disney’s FROZEN as performed by Idina Menzel


This holiday week I had the pleasure to see Disney’s new animated film Frozen. The animation was simply fantastic. One particular number that I fell in love with was”Let It Go” performed by Broadway star Idina Menzel. I found the lyrics beautiful and… I am not going to lie, my favorite part was when her beautiful – but subdued dress – turned into a Bob Mackie beaded evening gowwn, and her hips worked that dress to perfection like Shakira!
